I am absolutely delighted with the quality of the workmanship on the parts you sent me. The quality of the ebony you have at your disposal is far better than anything I have personally ever seen in my 35 years as an instrument maker. I use ebony for the key tops on my harpsichords and never have I been able to find ebony of the quality you have offered me in the parts you shipped to me. I love it !!

I forgot to mention, I thought that the packaging was really fine. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I appreciate the care taken at every level of the handling of the parts.

The love and care is evident in the finish work of your fittings. There is a check in the tail piece in conjunction with the e-string. This was a difficult species of wood to work and I understand that the check may have developed from the heat generated in the carving process. The buttons are sized more in line with 3/4 size violin dimensions. The overall sculptural form of the tail piece and chin rest are nice and compete well with German fittings costing much more. Your Hill tail piece is rather sharp at its pinnacle. The set that I have that is taking precedence over your sample is a set I had custom made in England. Of course they have direct contact with the fine fittings that were produced by the Hill Brothers and have their examples to work from. All in all, you have fittings that are very close to the finest made. The undercutting of the heart pegs is almost perfect. I was expecting an anodized finish on the blacked chin rest holder instead of some type of polymer or paint finish. But, your finish seems stable and long wearing. I hope this information is of use to you and I want to know that I appreciate your efforts and concern and your workmen are to be commended.

Dear Mr Chowdhury. The goods arrived in good time on Monday18th October. I am pleased with the quality of the woods and the workmanship and will be ordering more violin pegs and chin rests from you in due course. I would like to know if you can make a violin chin rest in a Teka pattern as this is a shape I prefer, although it is similar to the ones you supplied it is a little higher and the concave area where the players chin rests is a little deeper. Many thanks for your prompt attention.

Congratulations ! the quality of your products is really nice, you have a new customer with me for sure. Just we have to find a better solution for the sending of the parcel since I have been charged 90 euros for customs ( maybe declaring a lower value of the parcel or paying the cost of sending in a different invoice ?) I am sure we will find a more convinient way for both since the cost of DHL and customs make the final price less interesting. Any way I am really happy with your products.

Dear Mr. Chowdhury,

.........I have just briefly looked over the material, and I have received all that I ordered. The quality of the kits (pegs, chin rest and tailpiece) looks excellent, with a beautiful finish! I have not yet examined all the parts for eventual faults, though, but overall the pieces seem to be beautifully crafted, and I am very satisfied. All material was also very well packed, so I do not expect any damage from transport.
The fingerboards look very good, they are a bit larger in dimension than I am used to, but this is absolutely fine for me. I will do the last crafting myself, and this way they may also fit larger instruments.
It has been a pleasure doing business with you, and I hope that your business will go well in the future.
